Tabarnia says Hello! to the world with a series of videos that explain our positive pro-european values and desire for togetherness.
Tabarnia does not represent a single political vision and is open to everyone. We believe there are many things that could be much better in Spain, but breaking it apart is not the solution. We believe the true quality of love is to bring things together and point to what we have in common. We believe fear, selfishness and confusion hide in ideals that serve the opposite purpose.
We do not hate Separatists. We just think some ideas they hold on to are wrong and old fashioned. And we intend to explain them, very clearly, and the why. This is not a conflict that can be won by “defeating our enemy”, because our “enemy” is our neighbour, a member of our family or a good old friend. We need to win each other back.
And with all due respect, we are not Slovenia nor Québec. We are Catalan and Spanish and this will be known as the “Tabarnian Route”. We intend to show the world how the country of Don Quijote solves its differences. Hold onto your wit and sense of humour: If they say goodbye, we’ll say hello!
Depending on who you listen to, you might have heard about a majority of Catalonians voting for Separatists or Unionists. The true flag of Catalonia is not that simple to understand. Here is all the data clearly explained. Tabarnians would love to share the same flag with the Separatists, but if they don't want to, we have our own.
Despite all the nationalist propaganda efforts, a majority of voters did not vote for a pro-independence party in the latest Catalan elections. If separatists have majority in Parliament it is because the vote in Separatist regions, counts up to 2.28 times the vote of other unionist regions.
Is a Catalonia without Tabarnia viable? The Tabarnian region of Catalonia that holds a majority of Unionist voters is also the most profitable. Most of its industry, the main Mediterranean sea port, the International Airport with all its travellers and the city of Barcelona fall inside Tabarnia. If the Separatists true reasons for independence are not economic (as they claim), they can prove it allowing Tabarnia to remain part of Spain.
The Tabarnian Social Studies Department shows us what would happen if Tabarnians also decided to impose their views to the rest of Catalonians.
